Terms and Conditions for The Candid Club

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Candid Club! We’re thrilled to have you here. By joining, you agree to the terms outlined below. These exist to keep things clear and kind for everyone involved.

Important note: We’ve recently moved from Squarespace to Flodesk for smoother billing. If you're switching from our old setup, your previous subscription will be cancelled once your full 12 payments have been completed.

2. Membership Details

Minimum Term Commitment
Candid Club is a 12-month commitment. Whether you pay monthly or in parts, all 12 payments are due—even if you don’t use your sessions.
(Consistency is queen, and we want you to show up for your content—and yourself.)

After 12 payments are completed, your subscription will automatically end. No need to cancel. If you'd like to rejoin or continue, we’ll invite you to renew at the end of your term.

Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals aged 18 and older.

3. Payment Terms

Pricing
Membership pricing is as advertised at sign-up. Your rate is locked in for the duration of your membership.

Payment Platform
All recurring payments will now be processed via Flodesk Checkout.

Refunds
All payments are non-refundable, unless services cannot be delivered by Candid Studios due to unforeseen circumstances.

Failed Payments
Missed or failed payments may result in temporary suspension of your membership benefits until resolved.

4. Booking & Cancellations

Booking Process
Bookings are made via the studio calendar. You'll receive prompts when it's time to schedule your quarterly shoot.

Reschedules
Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows will result in a forfeited session.

5. Session Terms

What’s Included
Each session includes studio time, access to styled sets, and Candid’s signature self-portrait process. Add-ons like direction or editing can be booked separately.

Content Use & Permissions
You receive full rights to your content for personal and professional use.
Candid Studios will only share your images (e.g. for social media, website, or marketing) if you opt in when booking your shoot.
You can change your preferences at any time by contacting us.

6. Member Responsibilities

Treat the studio, staff, and fellow members with respect

Keep your contact details up to date

You’re financially responsible for any damages caused during your session

7. Studio Rights

We may make tweaks to the membership structure with 30 days' notice

We reserve the right to revoke membership in cases of misconduct or harm to the community

8. Privacy & Data

We only use your data for managing your membership and keeping in touch.
By joining, you consent to receive updates and member-only offers. You can opt out at any time.

9. Dispute Resolution

All issues should be sent to us in writing. We’ll always try to resolve things fairly and collaboratively.

10. Legal Bits

This agreement is governed by UK law.
Candid Studios is not liable for any indirect losses or circumstances outside our control (e.g. natural disasters, tech meltdowns).
